What photo restore is for
Use restore for everyday photo repair and old-photo refresh: scratches, dust, stains, mild blur, noise, fading, yellowing, and haze. PhotoCraft runs an image repair pass so the photo is easier to share and reprint — without claiming archival museum restoration.
Upload a photo or scan under 10MB. After processing, switch Original / New and check faces, edges, and text. Keep the original file; restore is a working copy for sharing.
What to expect on faces and color
The pass aims to recover readable faces and calmer color. Heavy cracks, missing corners, or extremely small chat exports may still look limited — start from the clearest file you have.
If skin looks too warm or cool after restore, open Finish and dial warmth and exposure. Restore does the heavy lift; Finish is for final taste.
Rights and honesty
Only upload photos you may edit. Restoring a photo does not change ownership. Review Original / New carefully before you share.
Credits, workbench, and next steps
Restore spends credits when the AI job succeeds. Check-in credits expire at the end of today; purchased packs last through the calendar month. Browse this product page freely; uploading opens the /app/restore workbench with your file ready.
After restore, use Finish for crop and light if you are preparing a print, a frame, or a social crop. Local finish does not spend AI credits. If the source is tiny, blurry, or heavily compressed, start from a better scan — AI cannot invent missing film grain fidelity that never existed.
PhotoCraft restore covers photo repair and old-photo refresh in one tool so searchers looking for either job land on the same honest workflow: edit only what you may edit, compare carefully, then finish locally when framing matters.
